Spanlens is an open-source (MIT) LLM observability platform for OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini: request logging, cost tracking, and agent tracing. Hosted SaaS below, or self-host the same code with Docker at zero cost.

- Pro: $29/mo, 100K requests/mo, 90-day retention, 3 seats, agent tracing, email alerts, email support, +$8 per extra 100K.
- Team: $149/mo, 1M requests/mo, 365-day retention, 10 seats, Slack and Discord alerts, team roles and audit log, priority support, +$5 per extra 100K.

## Notes for buyers

- No feature gating by tier. Every plan includes request logging, cost tracking, agent tracing, prompt management, evals, anomaly detection, and PII/security scanning. Higher tiers add capacity, seats, and integrations, not core features.
- Self-hosted (Docker, MIT license): $0, no request cap, no seat limit, retention you control. Same code as the hosted product.
- Billing runs through Paddle. Free needs no card. Paid plans bill monthly and prorate on change.
- Cheaper entry point than comparable hosted tiers from Langfuse Cloud and Helicone at similar usage.
